Each position on the site is kept the same way, like an entry in a stud book. The method is short and it is posted here so a reader can check the work, not take it on faith.
The four stands
The manifesto is kept in four stands. The Mouth argues the working trait itself: the retrieve, steadiness, the field trial. The Pedigree reads names, lines and the alphabet of titles. The Litter keeps the day-counted diary of the first weeks. The Proof weighs clearances, certificates and what a paper actually certifies.
What a mended sentence looks like
The site keeps a running pair of sentences on the home page: the loose one, crossed out, and the one that holds. A hip score certifies a film taken on one day, not a guarantee about a litter. A title records wins under named judges, not a promise about temperament. That is the whole craft of the manifesto, applied one entry at a time.
